Surprise Question

When there is something that surprises you, you can express your surprise with a question. For example, Nuria and Marc have just had lunch. Marc has eaten a lot. They go for a walk and Marc stops in front of a bakery and starts looking at the sweets. Nuria asks if Marc is hungry (all surprised because they have just had lunch).

Núria: Tens gana?

How does it sound? Listen and watch.

Listen again to the sentence you have just heard. Listen to the melody of the phrase: the voice tone is very low in the last stresses syllable of the statement (ga-) and then the final syllable raises (-na).

Now listen to the sentence as many times as you want and pay attention to the graphic. Watch (and listen) that the voice is very low in the last stressed syllable of the statement (ga-) and then in the syllables (na) it raises.

Surprised, you ask, "Yo have not soled them yet?! “Encara no les has venut?!” After saying the sentence, listen how it should be pronounced.
Now imagine that you are at home and you have a lot of clothes to wash.
